If your computer will not start normally try starting it in Safe Mode
To do that hit the F8 key repeatedly just before windows begins to startup
If it gets into windows but has errors that have only recently appeared:
Try running System Restore (in the Accessories-System Tools folder from the Start menu)
If windows stops or restarts after getting a blue screen error:
Try a System Restore from within Safe mode (see above)
If you get nothing on the screen at all or no indication of powering on:
This is a hardware fault and the computer (or the screen) requires a repair
